Nobody's Perfect Goals
The goal of Nobody’s Perfect is to give parents a safe place to meet and a chance to think about their lives, their children and their role as parents. Parents can use the program to:
Learn more about their children’s health, safety and behaviour
Build on the parenting skills they have, and learn and practice new ones
Build self-esteem and confidence as parents by recognizing their own strengths and abilities
Get to know other parents, relax and have some fun while learning
Make connections with other parents and begin to see each other as sources of help and support
"The facilitators are more into listening to us rather than telling us what to do. It is far more helpful - it makes me feel like I can deal with things without being judged." Parent

In past years, we have been joined by men, women & children / youth who have walked with us in solidarity to bring awareness to sexual exploitation and to help deliver the message that these violations against our children MUST STOP.
As in our history and traditions, it was the Clanmothers / Grandmothers / Kookums who held a strong voice in the communities. We continue to walk in the Truth, Wisdom, & Sacredness of our ancestors as we lead others to join with us. We invite organizations, youth groups, community members, and most importantly Grandmothers to come out with their banners, drums, & prayer ties to join with us on this ceremonial day.
